Paint & Hide
Prop hunt meets active camouflage in Paint & Hide, a fast-paced multiplayer game where survival hinges on color-matching your surroundings. Whether you're blending into giant lollipops as a sneaky hider or flushing out suspects as an aggressive hunter, mastering paint mechanics and spatial awareness is the key to dominating the daily leaderboard.

Chameleon hiding tactics: Color eyedroppers and footprint stealth
Staying undetected requires more than just crouching in a dark corner.
Using the eyedropper and custom disguise poses
During the preparation phase, scramble toward a wall, crate, or thematic prop. Hitting the PAINT key brings up an eyedropper tool, allowing you to sample and apply the exact hex shade of your backdrop. Once painted, select a disguise pose - curling up, lying flat, or freezing like a mannequin - to alter your silhouette and break up obvious human shapes.
Managing movement traces and silhouette sizes
Character selection plays a massive role in hitboxes. Choosing a Tiny skin makes you a far smaller target than a Chunky skin. Remember: standing completely still makes you virtually invisible, but sprinting around leaves telltale wet footprints on the floor that sharp-eyed hunters can easily track.
Hunter strategies: Overheat rules and team conversion
Hunting in Paint & Hide is an escalating game of elimination where every discovery turns an enemy into an ally.
- Tracking visual mismatches: Scan for slightly off-color objects, unnatural prop placements, or fresh paint trails along high-traffic corridors.
- Managing gun overheat: Blasting every wall blindly will quickly overheat your paint shooter, leaving you helpless while hiders relocate.
- Snowballing the hunt: Every found player instantly converts into a hunter, multiplying your team's visual coverage before the match timer expires.
Map-specific survival tips
- Toy factory & candy shop: Use vibrant pinks and bright yellow paint shades to blend directly into oversized toys and giant sweets.
- Pirate cove & retro office: Stick to darker wooden textures or gray office dividers where shadows mask slight color-matching imperfections.
- Private code matches: Practice eyedropper timing with friends in private lobbies to test sneaky hiding spots on each map.
