Steel Ridge Wars
Combining heavy artillery combat with momentum-based physics, Steel Ridge Wars places you in the commander’s hatch of armored war machines. You will charge across rolling terrain, firing devastating main-cannon rounds at endless waves of rival tanks. Dominating these physics-heavy battlefields requires balancing shell arcs, managing vehicle recoil, and constantly upgrading your chassis to survive brutal boss encounters that stretch from earthly hilltops all the way to low-gravity Moon arenas.

Physics-driven tank combat and terrain traversal
Surviving incoming salvos depends on how effectively you use rolling hills as natural cover.
Barrel elevation, recoil, and terrain angles
Shooting on uneven slopes introduces tricky ballistics. Driving up steep inclines tilts your cannon upward, forcing you to calculate trajectory arcs rather than aiming straight ahead. Heavy high-caliber cannons deliver substantial recoil that can push your chassis backward down a ridge, disrupting your driving line. Firing while cresting a hill gives you maximum sightlines across the valley below, but leaves your lower front armor completely exposed to enemy fire.
Earthly battlegrounds and lunar arena shift
- Gravity variations: Transitioning from terrestrial battlefields to low-gravity Moon stages dramatically alters vehicle handling, allowing tanks to catch massive air off crater edges.
- Opponent wave escalation: Enemy armor tiers scale aggressively, introducing heavy shield units and long-range artillery tanks in later stages.
- Loot salvaging: Defeated armored units drop vital scrap rewards necessary to finance garage modifications.
Garage progression, armor forging, and ranks
- Chassis armor reinforcement: Bolster front plate thickness to absorb direct artillery hits during head-on charges.
- Weapon upgrades: Install rapid-fire cannons, high-explosive ordnance, or plasma blasters to bypass heavy enemy shielding.
- Career rank climbing: Accumulate victory points to advance your rank from a rookie tank operator to the supreme title of Marshal.
Combat tactics for armor commanders
- Fire main guns at the peak of your suspension bounce: Time your shots right when your tank settles at the top of a hill crest for maximum firing accuracy.
- Prioritize cannon reload speed upgrades early: Cutting down reload downtime ensures you can suppress fast-moving scout tanks before they surround you.
- Use low lunar gravity to dodge heavy artillery: On Moon maps, launch off crater ramps to leap clean over incoming ground-level mortar shells.
